Samsung’s crazy invisible keyboard tech

How does Selfie Type work? Selfie Type is a project of Samsung’s in-house idea incubator C-Labs and delivers a virtual keyboard to users with the help of an AI algorithm and a front-facing camera. No additional hardware is required to set it up.  It allows users to type without physically touching their device’s on-screen keyboard. How accurate is it with tracking keystrokes remains to be seen, but the demo video certainly looks promising.  Samsung is expected to officially demo Selfie Type at  CES 2020 .

what is True wireless charging? Can we charge phones with light?

TRADITIONAL WIRELESS CHARGING(INDUCTIVE) WIRELESS CHARGING DOCK WORKING Wireless charging uses two resonant inductive couplings to transmit low-power signals between two devices. These are specially designed to transmit electricity without touching each other like a normal wired connection does. The base station, which is plugged into the wall through its own power supply, has a transmitter coil and your phone has a receiver coil. The base station regularly sends a signal out, and when a receiver coil gets close enough, a resonance change (the base station changes the amplitude of its oscillation — it vibrates faster) happens in the signal. The waveform of the signal is then modulated (changed to let the coil in the phone know power is being sent) and inductive charging begins. TRUE WIRELESS CHARGING(RADIO WAVES) MOTHER BOX The MotherBox is the first wireless charger that can really wirelessly charge your device. There’s no contact required. It's truly

#10 Vivo Z1 PRO Vivo's new Z1 Pro is aimed at Millenials who are highly critical of specifications and features, and who prefer buying phones online. It has plenty of selling points including a large, crisp, notch-less screen with a punch-hole for the front camera. This is also the first phone in India to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor, which gives it a performance advantage at its price level, especially for gaming. There's a 5000mAh battery with support for quick charging, and three rear cameras. There are three variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. You can also choose between the shiny Sonic Blue and Sonic Black finishes. The Vivo Z1 Pro puts up a strong showing in terms of its display, cameras, processor, and battery. We enjoyed using it for everyday tasks as well as entertainment. One slight damper is that Vivo's Funtouch OS takes a bit of getting used to, and has a lot of bloats. Some pe

Engineering with Origami !

what is origami: Origami, from ori meaning "folding", and kami meaning "paper" (kami changes to gami due to rendaku is the art of paper folding, which is often associated with Japanese culture. In modern usage, the word "origami" is used as an inclusive term for all folding practices, regardless of their culture of origin. The goal is to transform a flat square sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. Modern origami practitioners generally discourage the use of cuts, glue, or markings on the paper. Origami folders often use the Japanese word  kirigami  to refer to designs that use cuts. The small number of basic origami folds can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs. The best-known origami model is the Japanese paper crane. In general, these designs begin with a square sheet of paper whose sides may be of different colors, prints, or patterns. Traditional Japanese origami, which has be

How to move stars: Stellar engine: Space travel using solar energy

Image
STELLAR  ENGINE Stellar engines  are a class of hypothetical  megastructures  that use a star's radiation to create usable energy. Some variants use this energy to produce thrust and thus accelerate a  star , and anything orbiting it, in a given direction. The creation of such a system would make its builders a Type-II civilization on the  Kardashev scale . There are three variant classes of this idea 1.shkadov thruster( Class A)       One of the simplest examples of the stellar engine is the  Shkadov thruster   Dr.  Leonid Shkadov  who first proposed it.  Such an  engine  is a stellar propulsion system, consisting of an enormous mirror/ light sail —actually a massive type of solar  statite  large enough to classify as a  megastructure —which would balance gravitational attraction towards and  radiation pressure  away from the star. Since the radiation pressure of the star would now be  asymmetrical , i.e. more radiation is being emitted in one direction as compare
